Earl Austin | Prep Hoops Scout
The 6’4″ 2026 guard was one of the top players in the event with his offensive prowess. He was tough to defend because he can find buckets from anywhere on the floor. He made good use of his height by going into the post and scoring inside against a smaller defender. He takes what the defense gives him. If you pushed up on him, it was a drive. If you backed up, he was knocking down the 3-pointer. He was also setting up his teammates with nifty passes.

The 6’5″ guard had a strong performance against McCluer North where he scored close to 30 points. He was able to get buckets without forcing the issue too much. He got to the rim and he also pulled up for jumpers. When matched with a smaller defender (as many are at the guard position), he went into the low post and got busy. He also kept his teammates involved with his deft passing.
