Reed is the opposite of Irving, a safe option who is already incredibly productive for one of the top high school teams in the country. Reed has soft hands, is tough, finishes efficiently in the paint and handles himself with maturity. Not sure where Reed’s upside is going to come from, maybe if he becomes a knockdown shooter from the perimeter? But I can’t ignore how productive he is and I’m confident he will be an all-conference level forward as an upperclassmen at the high major level.

The 6’9″ 2026 power forward scored a team-high 31 points to lead the Bombers to their come from behind victory over St. Mary’s. He really asserted his dominance in the second half as the Bombers erased a 10-point deficit. He was powering his way inside for layups, offensive rebounds and slam dunks in the paint. He also had some impressive rim runs which led to putback slams in the transition game. He moves well and he plays with a big motor, which is trouble for opposing teams with his size. He also did a good job as a secondary ball handler against St. Mary’s relentless full court pressure defense.
