About Tajh
Expert Analysis
Aasim Sullivan | Prep Hoops Scout
Ariza is a talented guard who plays with poise and creativity in the open floor. He does a great job finishing around the basket, using touch and body control to score over length. His vision allows him to consistently find teammates and elevate the play of those around him. As a true three-level scorer, he’s comfortable creating offense from the rim, midrange, and beyond the arc.

Recently committed to Oregon, Ariza’s size is a big advantage in the paint due to his ability to handle the ball and sprint in the open court. Ariza had a couple monster dunks where he went right down the lane and rose up to throw it down. That type of versatility combined with a developing 3-point shot makes him a very intriguing prospect at both the college and potentially NBA level.

Tajh had a massive impact in the win against Campbell Hall, being a disruptive force defensively by using his wingspan to create turnovers. He was dominant on the glass at both ends, combining his length and athleticism to control rebounds. Ariza also showcased a solid scoring touch around the basket and got to the free-throw line frequently thanks to his aggressive play inside.
32 points, close to if not 20 rebounds, 10/12 FT in a win over Campbell Hall.

Tajh Ariza is a high-end competitor. Ariza is a prospect out of the 2026 class, who stands at 6’7 with a mean skill set on the hardwood. He has the ability to dominate his opponents with his natural size or he can hit them with a nasty skill move, making it all seem so effortless. Defensively, he is just as good. He has the ability to guard almost any position on the floor with his size at the moment, he tends to stay down on pump-fakes, and is very good at playing help-side defense. Even with how talented Ariza is, he is only going to get better. He competed with Team USA the past few years for the Olympics and I’m sure that is going to continue moving forward.
