They're already at 3-0 in the Mid-State Conference with Sharpe leading the scoring charge with 18.4 PPG and Neal averaging 10.5 assists per contest. </p>

<p>UNC commit [player_tooltip player_id='1115509' first='Drake' last='Powell'] has the Chargers playing a strong brand of basketball as he leads the charge in his senior season. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1411220' first='Cameron' last='Fowler'] has started to find his confidence in the rotation as well, averaging 12.9 PPG and 5.7 RPG. At 5-0 in the Mid-Carolinas Conference, they'll be tough to beat in 2A competition.</p>

<p>Last year's defending state champions start this year's 2A rankings at No. 3. They already got an early look at the No. 1 team in the rankings and it'll certainly be on their mind as they look to defend the crown. [player_tooltip player_id='1707110' first='MJ' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='1076359' first='Tyler' last='Whitehurst'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1076333' first='Hampton' last='Evans'] remain productive in their respective roles.</p>

They're 2-0 already in the Northern Lakes Conference and can shoot the ball well on the perimeter.</p>

<p>The Cougars have won six straight games and coming off a big win over Washington High in the 252/919 Winter Classic. Coach Croom has his boys playing well on both ends of the floor, starting on the defensive end.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2418471' first='Chase' last='Williams'] has begun climbing up the radar in the 2025 class as he's producing 18.7 PPG for the Knights. They've got just one loss on their record as they ride a nine-game winning streak into conference play which begins Jan. 12.</p>

He's producing 26.0 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 2.9 APG and 2.2 SPG. Unsigned senior [player_tooltip player_id='1030028' first='Nylan' last='Battle'] has filled the voids where he can as well. They've got a big conference matchup against Maiden on Wednesday.</p>

Simpson is nearly averaging a double-double while Rodriguez is an unsigned senior guard who can operate on both ends. They're 2-0 in the Mountain Foothills Conference alongside East Rutherford and Patton so far. </p>
