Williams takes home District II Player of the Year honors for West Bladen as he gears up for action in the 2A Region Final this evening. He’s already headed to The Citadel after this and a pivotal piece in the frontcourt on both ends to deal with. He’s compiled 21.0 points per game as the Knights look to punch their ticket to the state championship game tonight against Northwood.

Williams is a big man prospect to get to know at West Bladen High. He holds offers from Chowan, Mount Olive, Converse and The Citadel heading into his senior season. At 6-foot-8, he’s shown he’s capable of putting together double-doubles with consistency as well as an ability to play at the rim and finish in traffic. He’s a prospect for D1 and DII programs to get eyes on.
