was another impressive name in the Farmville Central frontcourt as he was virtually unstoppable attacking the painted area. He finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and three blocks and remains one of the more underappreciated forwards in the 2024 class. He’s a name for DII programs in the region to get to know.

Evans is an undersized big but does all the dirty work down low. He’s got a burly, big frame on him for being 6’5 which makes him already more able to guard the post than others his size. He showed an ability to stretch the floor and pop out of ball screens to knock down jumpers, as well as finish down low. He’s not playing above the rim or making explosive plays but his interior game is simple, effective, and consistent. He boxes out and rebounds well, helping ignite Greenfield’s transition break. Intangibly, he’s a leader and the heart and soul of this Greenfield squad. Look for him to have another big season and end up at the D2/D3 level where he should be highly coveted.

Made a nice impact for his team rebounding the ball and using his three-point shooting ability to stretch the defense which allowed more room for his guards to operate. On Friday night as they were matched up with nationally ranked STAB, he found bodies to box out and showed some of the potential he has to make an impact on games on the boards as well as his scoring on the perimeter which are both traits that you love to see from a forward.

Evans is another prospect that colleges of all levels should get eyes on right away over at Greenfield School this season. He enters the 2024 rankings No. 47 in the class following a strong sophomore campaign for the Knights. He’s a versatile 6-foot-5 forward that plays with a ton of energy and physicality in the paint. He’ll be a relentless option down low for the Knights to rely on this season and even has the ability to stretch the floor with his jump shot.
