Tuesday: Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI (Nicolet) vs Juan Guerrero Hernandez Juan Guerrero Hernandez 6'3" | CG Grafton | 2025 State #189 Nation WI (Grafton)
Tuesday night sees two of the top 2025 prospects in the state matchup. Both have long frames with explosive athleticism that could make for some entertaining plays throughout the night. Davion has Nicolet at 2-2 to start the year (both losses to out of state teams), but this will be their biggest in-state test so far this year. He’s putting up 23.8 ppg utilizing his above-the-rim finishing ability combined with dangerous pull-up jumper. At 6’5-6’6 he excels at getting to his spots off the bounce, and is a big time shot blocker on the defensive end as well. On the other end will be Juan who is scoring 19.8 ppg and leading Grafton in assists at 3.8 per game. He’s really impressed with his efficiency this season as he’s been able to get to the rim and use his length to finish in a variety of ways. He’s helped his Grafton team get off to a 4-1 start heading into a big time matchup with Nicolet.
Tuesday: Aaron Womack Aaron Womack 6'3" | SF Dominican | 2025 State #228 Nation WI (Dominican) vs Amari McCottry Amari McCottry 6'5" | SF St. Thomas More | 2024 State #304 Nation WI (St. Thomas More)
Big time wing matchup on Tuesday night as these two undefeated teams face off. Dominican has arguably the most high powered offense in the state, and they’re led by Aaron Womack Aaron Womack 6'3" | SF Dominican | 2025 State #228 Nation WI ‘s 22.8 ppg. At 6’6 he has such a long frame, and can make plays both on the perimeter and around the rim. He has a quick release from three meaning opposing forwards have to stick with him on the perimeter, and he’s looked much improved handling the ball in transition this season. Over the past 2.5 seasons of varsity basketball he’s been so consistent as a scoring option, while also growing as a rebounder. Amari is a proven player at the varsity level, having averaged 17.2 ppg as just a freshman. Now as a senior he has his eyes set on a state title. Beating Dominican early in the season would be a statement win as he looks to make that happen. Amari has a long frame at around 6’6, but has done a nice job of packing some muscle on to that frame. Combined with his ability to change directions with the ball at his size, he’s so dangerous getting to the rim and powering his way through contact to score. Once he gets downhill there isn’t much defenders can do to stop him. He’s also done a nice job of improving as a facilitator over the years. Averaging 21 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game to start the season.
Thursday: Anthony Miller Anthony Miller 6'0" | CG Madison Memorial | 2026 State WI (Madison Memorial) vs Origin Prewitt Origin Prewitt 5'11" | CG Madison Lafollette | 2027 WI (Madison La Follette)
Big time matchup of underclassmen guards in Madison on Thursday. Anthony Miller Anthony Miller 6'0" | CG Madison Memorial | 2026 State WI made an instant impact last season as he scored 20 point in his first varsity game, and went on to have a solid season after that. He has a dangerous mid-range game, and is a point guard you can trust to make a limited amount of mistakes with the ball. On the other end will be Origin Prewitt Origin Prewitt 5'11" | CG Madison Lafollette | 2027 WI , a freshman guard quickly making a name for himself at the varsity level. He’ll often be the smallest player on the floor, but is able to make a big impact with his quickness on both ends of the floor. He’s not afraid to take the ball to the rim and finish against bigger players, but he’s also knocked down a handful of threes this year. Scored 20 points in a close win over Janesville Parker last week.
Friday: Tim Franks Tim Franks 6'5" | SG Homestead | 2024 State WI (Homestead) vs Jack Kohnen Jack Kohnen 6'5" | SF Slinger | 2027 State WI (Slinger)
Tim Franks Tim Franks 6'5" | SG Homestead | 2024 State WI has been producing for a number of years, while Jack Kohnen Jack Kohnen 6'5" | SF Slinger | 2027 State WI is a freshman already making a name for himself with some big time performances. Homestead comes in at 3-1 led by Franks’ 34 ppg. He’s the kind of player who you can’t afford to leave even an inch of space on the perimeter, because he’s going to get off a shot and put 3 points on the board. The St. Thomas commit is going to compete for rebounds and seems to take one or two charges just about every time I see him play. Jack scored 32 in his first high school game, and has also helped lead Slinger to an impressive win over Grafton. As a freshman he already stands at 6’5, and has impressive shot creating ability at that size. Can get into the lane for a floater, knock down at three off the catch, or break his man down and get into his mid-range pull-up. Even as a gifted scorer he’s also dishing out 3.8 assists per game as he constantly draws in extra defenders and is capable of locating an open teammate.
Saturday: Chris Davis Jr (Sun Prairie West) vs Jamarion Batemon Jamarion Batemon 6'3" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 State #174 Nation WI (Milwaukee Academy of Science)
Headlining the Win Parkinson Invite is Sun Prairie West vs MAS. Chris Davis is currently leading the state in scoring at an impressive 37 ppg, as he’s just relentless with the ball in his hands. He came into high school as an outside shooting threat, and has since grown into a three level scorer with some length and explosiveness to match the skillset. Throw a smaller guard on him and Chris can bully his way to the basket. Defend him with a bigger wing and he’s just too good at creating space on the perimeter. Jamarion Batemon Jamarion Batemon 6'3" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2025 State #174 Nation WI is another one of the top guards in the loaded 2025 class, and like Chris is capable of putting up big scoring numbers. Batemon is a knock down shooter from three with the ability to hit shots off the catch or dribble. He’s a 40+% shooter from deep on his career, and came into his junior season looking like an even more explosive athlete. With these two on opposite ends of the floor, we could see a high scoring matchup on Saturday.
