Even in games filled with future D1 players, Juan’s athleticism stands out. He’s an explosive athlete with the ability to hang in the air for dunks or acrobatic finishes. Against Power 5 he had his team in it until the very end as he was slashing to the basket for tough finishes against size. In the two games I watched he showed his ability to create separation for jumpers, which are tough for defenders to contest because of how he elevates on his shot. Combination of long arms and athleticism make him a tough on-ball defender who can come up with steals due to his length. Helped lead his team to a 2-1 record.

A superior athlete with a + wingspan that is incredibly hard to defend in transition, Hernando puts relentless pressure on the rim and is capable of detonating on anyone. With a quick first step and the agility to harness those explosive moments into finesse footwork finishes in the paint, he’s a very capable scorer on or off the ball. The timing and speed of his cuts will keep his defender on edge, and after a few backdoor cuts he is capable of V-cutting back to the 3 point line to hit shots. Defensively he can cause some havoc as a weak-side shot blocker and a wing capable of jumping a passing lane to convert into 2 points at the other end. Very intriguing prospect to track in 2025.

Juan is a long and rangy athlete. Hernandez is a quick leaper off the floor and really can change a game on either end of the court. Juan was able to challenge shots on the defensive side of the court after hustling down on a rebound on the offensive end. His MOTOR was constantly turned on at all times today.
Juan brings good versatility to the floor where he can play the 1-3 positions at times. He was able to finish above the rim on a handful of occasions here today.

Juan helped Grafton cruise by Whitefish Bay with 23 points on 10-14 shooting while adding in 6 assists to his tally. He has the ability to play some iso ball when needed, but in this game was scoring within the flow of the offense which made him that much more efficient. If his defender sagged off he would confidently knock down a three. Play him too tight and he could beat you to the rim off the dribble or with a hard cut off the ball. Used his freakish athleticism to throw down a transition dunk, while also pinning a shot off the backboard with two hands. After that block he found a teammate with an outlet pass, and then sprinted up the floor to pick up an easy lay-up. One of the top 2025’s in the state.

Jr is another prospect with an incredibly high ceiling. He’s only 16 years old and measures up as 6’4 now. Combine his height, length, and advanced athleticism and this is a prospect with mouthwatering physical tools for a collegiate guard. Not to mention his untapped potential and room for growth. He may be the best dunker the state has seen in a long time, especially when you factor in his age and height. He has great body control in the air and understands timing on lobs. He’s a ball dominant player that will slice his way to the rim, but also stretch defenders out to the 3P to respect his outside jumper (39%). Averaged 18.6 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 3.1 APG as a sophomore. He will continue his dominance into the national spotlight throughout the next two seasons.
