Wolff was among the most rock solid players at this event, playing strong at all times. The 6’3 guard boasts excellent reaction speeds while recovering on defense, effective at getting higher than most opponents for shot blocking opportunities. Wolff was a wiry defender, effective at taking contact while maintaining a legal defensive stance. Wolff was among the best defenders at this event, due to his consistency rotating in a timely manner. Fairly athletic vertically and laterally, the guard showed value crashing the defensive glass, often kickstarting fast breaks. Offensively, the guard was a capable ball handler in the full court, comfortable creating driving lanes through crossovers and hesitations. While attacking the rim, Wolff displayed a quick first step, granting him immediate opportunities in the paint. Knocking down multiple threes on the day, Wolff brings a refined blend of athleticism and complementary tools to be an effective varsity level player in time.
Jacob David Jacob David 6'4" | SG Rock Canyon | 2027 State CO – Rock Canyon
David was arguably the most skilled prospect from this event, at minimum on the offensive side of the floor. The 6’3 guard proved comfortable stepping into deep threes, rising up off the catch or following a side step. There were few guards as dynamic of a perimeter scorer, given his comfort creating shot attempts and stepping into off-balance moves. The guard could utilize a few dribbles to break down the opponent, before attacking downhill and getting up the floater in traffic. There are few players in the state at his height who display his outlier touch on tough shots, capable of flowing into such attempts off a variety of directions.
Logan McCanna Logan McCanna 6'6" | PF Evergreen | 2027 CO – Evergreen
McCanna was impressive through his rim protection and willingness to embrace contact on rebounding opportunities. At roughly 6’5, the forward did well anchoring the paint on either end of the floor. Defensively, McCanna consistently kept an arm up to deter opposing drivers, staying physical if needed to step up and contest a shot. Off of blocks or shot attempts, the forward was always prepared to not only box out but crash the glass for the next opportunity. On the opposite end he displayed soft touch around the rim, event scoring through contact on a few opportunities. His continued progression as a perimeter shooter will be intriguing, given his wide reach and high release point.
Avery Tukarawa Howe Avery Tukarawa Howe 6'6" | SF Lehi | 2027 State UT – Lehi (UT)
Howe appeared to be the most conditioned among 6’1+ prospects, especially quick getting from north to south. The 6’5 wing proved effective in transition, getting out quicker than the vast majority of opponents small or big. Howe was always shot ready, prepared to attack immediately following the catch. His quick acceleration made him a tough cover, just too difficult to match for the vast majority of opponents.
Boaz Wisne Boaz Wisne 6'5" | SF Horizon | 2027 State CO – Horizon
Wisne is notably strong for his age, proving capable of scoring through contact in a variety of situations. The 6’5 forward proved effective attacking the rim off of rip throughs, capable of either getting to his short floater in traffic or scoring through contact. Most effective with the right hand, Wisne proved especially consistent, contributing on scoop layups and high arcing finishes.
