Adrian Montague Adrian Montague 6'1" | PG Jefferson | 2026 State OR | PG | Jefferson – #1
The guard known around the Portland area as “Fuzzy” remains at the top after a freshman campaign that matched all the hype. The 5-foot-11 guard started from day one and immediately proved that he could both score (12 ppg) and lead a team at the varsity level. The lefty has a quick first step and shifty moves that free him for his jump shot and he’s a natural leader at the point that his teammates automatically look to. Montague was the only member of Oregon’s Class of 2025 to play at the EYBL level this spring with the NW Rotary Rebels 15U squad.
Zamir Paschal Zamir Paschal 5'10" | PG Central Catholic | 2026 State OR | PG | Central Catholic – #2
Best known as “Bam”, Paschal got plenty of minutes in the main rotation for Central Catholic in 2022-23 and by the end of the season was finishing games. The freshman point guard has a tremendous feel for the game and is adept at both scoring (9 ppg) and passing (2.6 apg) the basketball and is an outstanding rebounder for his size (5 rpg). He was injured this spring so he did not participate in club basketball but there is no question he has plenty of upside – he’s already garnered a scholarship offer from the University of Portland.
Eli Vizconde Eli Vizconde 5'11" | CG Mountainside | 2026 State OR | CG | Mountainside – #3
Vizconde immediately carved out a role as a spot-up shooter for state tournament team Mountainside and did it at the highest level – he finished the 2022-23 season leading all of 6A in three-point shooting percentage at just under 50 percent (.495). While he was absolutely money from three – especially in the corners – the 5-foot-11 guard can do more than just catch and shoot, and has shown that in AAU basketball with Dynasty. There he’s been playing the point and showing he can get to the hoop and finish as well.
Jaxon Lawson Jaxon Lawson 5'10" | PG Canby | 2026 State OR | PG | Canby – #4
We weren’t aware of Lawson going into the 2022-23 season but we quickly learned about the impact freshman after he essentially started at the point at Canby at the start of the year. The 5-foot-11 guard has a smooth handle, a solid perimeter shot, and is good at getting to the hoop and either finishing or dishing it to an open teammate. He ranked second on the team in both scoring (9.9 ppg) and assists (2.6 apg) and actually led the Cougars in rebounding (3.8 rpg) from the lead guard spot. Lawson has been playing this spring with the Rose City Rebels 15U squad.
Jemai Lake Jemai Lake 5'11" | CG Tualatin | 2026 State OR | PG | Tualatin – #5
Lake swung JV this season with the title-winning Timberwolves and didn’t get a ton of playing time but the fact he even did that said volumes. The 5-foot-10 guard is already ahead of the curve in terms of development than older brother Josiah, who we all saw evolved into a dominant force at the high school level. In AAU basketball this spring with Team Fly, he’s been taking on a main role with scoring and handling the ball and while nothing will be handed to him, we wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him starting at the point for Tualatin next season.
