Cervenka had a big-time performance against All Ohio Red’s 16 U squad in a competitive game that went down to the wire. A sharp shooting contest, Cervenka connected on numerous 3-pointers throughout the game and was creating space off the bounce to fire away from long distance. There were also a couple plays where Cervenka was able to attack and create advantages for his team where he’d either look to score or find an open teammate. Another aspect of his game I was impressed by was his hustle, getting a couple loose balls simply because he was playing hard on the court. Cervenka was recently added to our 2025 rankings but with more performances like this, he’ll be raising his stock before the next update.
Highlights
OBC 16 U has had a strong spring on the UA Rise circuit and it was good to catch them again. Their backcourt of Scott, Jason Henlon Jason Henlon 6’0″ | PG Sandusky | 2025 State OH and Brady Ganley Brady Ganley 6’2″ | SG Brecksville-Broadview Heights | 2025 State OH (who will be spotlighted in a separate article later this week) was impressive in their tight win over Shining Star Price 16 U. Scott is a pure point guard who plays with good pace and wants to get his teammates involved first. Making smart passes in the pick and roll and when he’s driving to the hoop, Scott is one of the best passers in Ohio’s 2025 class. With the ball in his hands, Scott also does a good job of keeping the defense off balance with changing speeds and using crossovers, he also made a couple scoop layups when he looked to score in the paint.
His brother Nate was one of the best scorers in the GMC the past two seasons and Alex is an elite shooter himself. Running off screens and spotting up well behind the 3-point line didn’t phase this Dudukovich as he scorched the nets for Shining Star Price 16 U this weekend. Undersized physically, Dudukovich was doing his scoring damage from outside the paint to show off his shooting ability. With the amount of athletic talent in his family, it’ll be interesting to watch this Dudukovich develop physically as he matures.
McClure had a great finish to his high school season and has been making noise with Ohio United this spring. After a disappointing pool play, they made it to the championship game in their silver bracket. McClure was showing off more on ball ability at the 16 U level with numerous athletic takes to the bucket where he was clearly a tier above the competition. Defensively, McClure is impressive with his wingspan, footspeed and toughness. I expect a huge junior season for the wing who seems to improve with every recent watch. With their impressive bracket run I was impressed with a couple guys on his team, including Tyler Kielmeyer Tyler Kielmeyer 6’6″ | PF Westerville South | 2025 State OH and Aaron Foster Aaron Foster 6’1″ | PG Dublin Scioto | 2025 State OH among others.

Granville-Britten was the most dominant big for All Ohio Red 16 U in the game I caught, showing off his size and strength in the paint against a Division I football prospect. One of the bigger players in the 2025 class, Granville-Britten has always been large for his age and his size is an even bigger strength on the grassroots circuit against players his age than during the high school season against older bigs. Granville-Britten was finishing plays that De’Erick Barber De’Erick Barber 5’11” | PG Richmond Heights | 2025 State #268 Nation OH was creating off the bounce, showing impressive chemistry between the duo. A monster putback slam dunk was one of the highlights of the weekend that I saw and he knocked in a mid-range jumper when he was left alone from 15 feet.
McMorris is a prospect I got to watch for the first time since last July over the weekend and I left impressed with his activity around the rim. Scoring with both hands in the paint, McMorris is one of the more athletic bigs in the 2025 class. Getting numerous offensive rebounds and put-back layups, McMorris was getting easy buckets that were valuable for Nova’s 16 U squad this weekend. Tried showing off a bit of a mid-range game, he had a few bad misses but connected on a pair in the two games I caught as well. His shooting is a work in progress, but I thought he shot free throws with confidence. McMorris is set for a breakout Junior season in central Ohio with his talent and athleticism.
