Ohio Freshman Showcase: Team 5 Standouts

He has great size and length that make him a presence on the defensive end. Around the rim, he is a good finisher, and I only expect that part of his game to improve as he gets older. Braxton is quick on his feet and showed the ability to guard all five positions. He also did a good job finding open teammates for kickouts when operating out of the post. He was able to score from all three levels and was especially effective from the outside. He also proved to be a sneaky-good offensive rebounder, creating several second-chance opportunities for his team. Jayce has a great handle and rarely turns the ball over, allowing him to consistently create for himself and others. He has a super-quick release and shoots the ball at a high clip. He is comfortable spotting up from the outside or creating his own shot off the dribble. Kaleb's length also helped him make an impact defensively, as he was able to jump into passing lanes and come away with steals. He knocked down multiple triples, including a couple from several feet behind the line. He has elite range and the ability to make defenses pay from deep. Destin can also attack the rim and finish when defenders close out too aggressively. He did a great job crashing the offensive glass as well, converting a couple of putbacks after grabbing offensive rebounds. The part of his game that stood out the most was his excellent handle, which allowed him to create space and get where he wanted on the floor. His scoring ability was also impressive, as he was able to get it done from all three levels. The most impressive aspect of his scoring was his finishing ability around the rim. He used a variety of moves to get past defenders and converted multiple acrobatic layups once he got there. Dreyven has a smooth offensive game, and it will be interesting to see how he continues to develop as he gets older.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
