Junker was a player that was able to do multiple things on the court and was a dominant force in the paint all day for his team. He was scoring in the paint with ease when he got to the low block, using a wide array of moves to score at the rim. He is also a player that plays above the rim and can throw it down when he has an opening. He shows good vision being able to kick it to the open man hitting his teammates for open threes. He has good handles and is able to bring the ball up the court in transition. On the defensive end he was the defensive anchor, he was altering shots, coming up with block and crashing the boards heavy. He was solid all day and was a key player for Elevation.
Rocco Cali
Rocco Cali
Cali was my favorite under the radar big of the day as he was quietly having himself a day. He is a player that stands out at his size, being a bigger physical guy but he showed some finesse and touch which was a nice surprise. He was able to move at his size and was getting up and down the court making an impact on both ends. In his second matchup of the day he took on Papa Moussa Diop who is a top 14U big and slowed him down some which is a tough task for anyone. Cali is a knock down shooter and will make you pay if you leave him open. He will be a under the radar player to watch moving forward.
Papa Moussa Diop
Papa Moussa Diop
Diop is a player that catches your eye immediately when he is on the court. For his age and height he has great body control and when he gets a little more aggression he will be a top player in the country. He is able to play above the rim and is a beast in the paint. On multiple occasions when he got the ball on the block you can see his dominance. If it is dunking the ball or just moving players out of the way to get rebounds and second chance points he was that guy. Elevation Flyers 15U was the only team able to slow him down some but he dominated the entire day and was a monster on the boards at both ends, cleaning up anything coming his direction. He was able to control the paint on defense as well, forcing the opponent to shoot more from the perimeter when he was in.
Lawrence Amedor
Lawrence Amedor
Amedor was a player that stood out for his post presence and was making an impact on both ends in the post. He looked smooth with his post moves and was able to create space, moving defenders out of the way all day. He was able to score in the paint with ease once he got the ball low enough and was in his bag getting defenders off balanced while he finished at the rim. He was a player that showed good on ball defense and was able to keep up with the smaller/shiftier players. A thing that caught my eye was his touch from the charity stripe, as he was pretty automatic for most of the day.
Treysen Eye
Treysen Eye
Eye was a good example of a high energy player that is a good two-way athlete. He was very active on the defensive end and that is what caught my eye was his ability to guard multiple position and his hustle. He was active on the boards and was grabbing everything that was coming off of the rim, which is also a testament to his effort that he plays with and having good vision. When the other team got out in transition he was hustling back, poking the ball out from behind or getting back into the play and forcing a tough shot. On the offensive end he was knocking down threes consistently all day and was also able to drive inside scoring at the rim.
Bonner was one of many standout players for B&B Academy 2026 Black as he was able to make an impact on the interior. He was a player that showed good ball handling ability and was able to use his vision to hit his teammates on cuts and in transition. He was pushing the break in transition and was able to drive and score at the rim. He is also able to knock down his midrange which he was able to stretch the defense, allowing his teammates room to cut. On the defensive end he was able to block some shots on players driving and was altering opposing players shots all day. He will be a player to watch progress this summer.
