Schell was a smooth scorer who did a great job using his body to create space and get to his spots without needing much room to operate. He played with good pace and showed a natural feel for finding ways to score in traffic. That ability to manufacture offense stood out throughout the showcase. Moving forward we want to see him continue developing his playmaking and defensive impact while adding more ways to consistently create advantages for himself and his teammates

Schell elevated his play in the second half of game one, making a significant impact on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he protected the rim with multiple blocks while also displaying active hands that led to steals and disrupted opposing possessions. Offensively, he stretched the defense by knocking down open three pointers with confidence whenever defenders helped off him. His two-way performance, highlighted by timely defensive plays and efficient perimeter shooting, helped change the momentum and showcased his all-around value for his team on the day.
