The South Suburban sports complex saw a talented group of 14u prospects and gave players yet another opportunity to showcase their development in a competitive environment. Throughout the day, athletes displayed skill, toughness and versatility while competing against quality opposition. Several players elevated their stock with impactful performances on both ends of the floor, demonstrating the ability to influence games in a variety of ways. The standouts below consistently made winning plays, produced in key moments and proved they have the tools to continue making noise as the summer evaluation period progresses.    Tarpenning controlled the paint throughout the day, using his size and physicality to overwhelm smaller defenders. He consistently finished around the rim, converting high percentage opportunities while establishing deep post position. On the glass, he was a force, securing rebounds on both ends and making smart decisions by either kicking the ball out to open shooters or converting put back baskets. His presence inside created matchup problems all game and his ability to dominate the boards made him one of the most impactful interior players at South Suburban on Saturday.     Deveau showcased excellent court vision and composure as a floor general, consistently creating quality scoring opportunities for his teammates. He did an outstanding job finding cutters for easy baskets and keeping the offense flowing with timely passes. Defenders also had to respect his shooting from the outside, as he confidently knocked down open three pointers when given space. His ability to balance scoring with playmaking made him a key offensive contributor and one of the more efficient guards throughout the day.     Delaney impressed with his ability to change speeds and keep defenders off balance throughout the two games. He used his burst of quickness to attack the lane and finish around the basket while also showing the confidence to step out and knock down shots from beyond the arc. In addition to his offensive production, he contributed on the glass by crashing for key rebounds. His versatility and ability to score at multiple levels made him a difficult matchup and he was a key contributor for his team.     Gibson established himself as a dominant presence in the paint with his physical style of play and relentless effort on the boards. He consistently secured rebounds on both ends of the floor, creating some key second chance opportunities for his team. Once he gained position on the block, he used his strength effectively to carve out space and finish through contact. His ability to control the interior made him a reliable scoring option and a major factor in his team's success throughout the two games making him a name to know in the Championship.     Schell elevated his play in the second half of game one, making a significant impact on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he protected the rim with multiple blocks while also displaying active hands that led to steals and disrupted opposing possessions. Offensively, he stretched the defense by knocking down open three pointers with confidence whenever defenders helped off him. His two-way performance, highlighted by timely defensive plays and efficient perimeter shooting, helped change the momentum and showcased his all-around value for his team on the day.
