Diawara is a prospect that pops even in warmups as you’re excited to see what he has. Having that size at 6’7 and the motor to keep moving, it separates him from other prospects. Then you get to see how he’s able to move, keep the ball high on hooks and finishes and grab boards and know that he can impact the game. He grabs boards and finds the guard, runs the floor well and sets screens. He rolls off of those screens and finishes and uses his strength or creates room for others. He is raw, but with another year of organized ball under his belt, I am assuming he continues to shine. He makes the rankings for the first time and is a player that many eyes should be on. We think he has a chance to finish in the Top 75 with a big season, we just need to see it

Diawara was one of those players you just couldn’t miss when he was on the court. His size, strength, and athleticism jumped out right away. Whether it was on offense or defense, he brought intensity. On the boards he was a beast, always in the right spot, boxing out hard, and skying up for rebounds. Once secured Diawara was looking to push the pace, either throwing a quick outlet or running the floor himself to get his team into transition. That ability to turn defense into offense was huge. In the paint he was straight-up dominant. Bullying defenders down low, finishing through contact and carving out space like it was nothing. Once he got position, it was basically a wrap and nobody was stopping him. Overall, Diawara was just physical, relentless, and super impactful on both ends
