Weiss made his college decision official when he announced that he’ll be attending Brandeis University. One of New England’s top perimeter shooters, Weiss has a high basketball IQ, solid passing instincts, and terrific positional size. He has one elite skill and that’s his shooting, a true seperator for him from other recruits. He’s equally efficient as both with the ball in his hands and off the ball in catch-and-shoot situations. He makes good reads in ball screen actions, can create space with his dribble, and picks his spots to leverage his shooting and get into the paint. Defensively, with his size, he should be able to guard up and down a postion at the next level. I’d expect that he’ll be able to find his way onto the floor early with his shooting and as he continues to add to his game, could have a very nice four year career in the UAA.
