The last player in our national top 10, Anderson is a strong lead guard who could probably play at a high level at a handful of sports based on his athletic gifts and natural ability. Anderson is a tough lefty slasher who has the strength to play through contact. A flashy passer, Anderson throws some of the most audacious passes in the entire class and does a nice job of manipulating the defense with his eyes on drives. I was a big fan of watching Anderson with Prolific Prep last season and he should have even more offensive responsibility after they graduated a couple of top seniors. Anderson is the second guard in our top 10 national rankings who stood out with Adidas Next Gen in Europe scoring almost 16 points and dishing almost 10 assists per contest while overseas.

Another high level lead guard in the 2027 class, Anderson turned heads this spring while starring for the Atlanta Celtics. The Savannah native is a strong, left handed scoring guard who combines physicality, athleticism, and confidence to consistently produce against top competition. Anderson excels at creating his own offense, using his good quickness, powerful downhill attacks, and high level athleticism to get into the paint and finish through traffic. He plays with an aggressive mindset and is capable of taking over stretches of a game as a scorer. His perimeter shooting continues to improve, making him an even more dangerous offensive weapon and forcing defenders to respect him beyond the arc. Anderson’s confidence, toughness, and ability to generate offense make him one of the more dynamic lead guard prospects in the country.

One of my favorite lead guards to watch in the country, Anderson has a college ready body already and is an exceptional passer when he’s attacking downhill. When Anderson gets a step going left, he’s finishing at the rim almost every time and he did that over and over again this weekend. Confident with the ball in his hands in clutch situations, Anderson found Savage for the buzzer-beating shot to lift their team to the title game. Expect to hear a lot about Anderson this winter on a loaded Prolific Prep squad.

Another 3SSB standout headed to Prolific Prep, Anderson could be the straw that stirs the drink for one of the top prep teams in the country this season. With a college ready frame and exceptional passing ability to any area on the court, Anderson could be in more of a pass first role with Prolific Prep compared to when he was forced to take over as a scorer at times for Game Elite 16 U. Regardless of what type of role Anderson is forced to play, he’s almost always one of the most dominant players on the court and looks like a prospect the top college programs in the country will be fighting for.

Anderson has had a productive Summer, as he was named MVP of the U16 FIBA AmeriCup Championships, leading Team USA to the title. The 6-foot-4 lead guard brought that stellar level of play to the 3SSB Invitational, and put down one of the best individual performances of the event in a win over Wildcats Select to earn a spot in the Consolation Game, with back to back threes to tie the game, as well as a steal and game-winning lay-up as time expired to give Game Elite the win. Anderson is a physical and athletic guard that has a strong handle on the ball, keeps his dribble alive to survey the floor, has the height, precision, and patience to make difficult passes to teammates cutting off screens or moving off the ball to the open spot, and routinely finds players in the corners for open looks off the dribble drive and kick out pass. Anderson has elite moves to create space from his defender, with the use of the hesitation or the hard pound dribble into the crossover to get down hill, and a quick burst of speed off the dribble to get his opponent on their heels, which opens up the court where he has an array of moves and shots to score the ball from 3-levels. Anderson looks to get downhill off the bounce, makes good use of his physical build to get into his opponent’s body, where he uses the spin move to get by his defender for the lay-up or to create space for the pull-up jumper. Anderson is accurate with the 3-ball off the dribble or the catch, has great body control on shots from within fifteen feet of the basket, is a great positional rebounder, the bounce to alter shots at the basket or on the perimeter, and is an outstanding on-ball defender with active hands to create steals and turnovers to get in the open court. He plays with great pace and feel for the game and rarely is rushed into poor decision making with the ball in his hands.

One of the top point guards nationally in the class of 2027, Anderson is on a short list of prospects that NBA teams have prioritized this weekend. With an incredible frame and athleticism, Anderson is physically dominant compared to many of his lead guard peers. While the scoring ability is what first catches your eye with Anderson as he has the combination of getting downhill going left and pull-up jumpers, his passing left quite the impression on me as the game continued on Thursday. Anderson swung the ball across the court with power and accuracy, setting his teammates up with easy looks.

A physically imposing, muscular guard who plays with toughness and intensity. Anderson attacks the rim with force and finishes through contact. He’s capable of hanging in the air to find open teammates and continues to develop as a perimeter shooter. A high-upside slasher who is firmly on Power 5 radars.
