The big man from South Florida continues to show steady improvement in the frontcourt for 4:44 Athletics. Cohn possesses obvious size and has shown noticeable progress with his mobility and overall feel around the basket. He displayed improving touch in the paint, particularly scoring over his left shoulder with his right hand, while continuing to become more comfortable offensively. Defensively, he has the tools to be an effective rim protector and continues to add strength to his frame, which should further enhance his impact on both ends of the floor.

Cohn was on my radar in 2022 when he was a lanky 6’5 middle schooler. Two years later he’s a spindly 6’10 with a ton of potential. He’s a willing shooter, rebounds his area, and has potential as a rim protector. Much of Cohn’s appeal is upside. One day we could be watching a mobile 6’10 forward who can stretch the floor and protect the paint.
