Smith is a slasher who thrives getting downhill. He does a good job using his angles when he is on the attack. He is a tad of a tweener Smith makes sound decisions when receiving the ball off the catch. He has a budding frame with tentacle like limbs. Smith can also be a threat from deep.

In 2024-25 Smith was a key piece for a Trinity squad that won the District 3-3A title and advanced to the 3A state tournament quarter finals. This past season he scored a season high 14 points (4 threes) against Shamokin. Smith is a versatile guard with three level scoring skills. He does an impressive job of establishing his accurate jump shot to set up his drives to the cup. Once he has drained a few perimeter shots, Smith will execute a head / ball fake and then put the ball on the floor and attack the paint. Once in the lane, Smith can score via lay-ins and runners off the glass. He will also deliver the occasional kick out pass to an open shooter.
