Mbpudjika is continuing to make significant developmental strides every time I watch him play. The 6-foot-9 big man has always had excellent athleticism, but he hasn’t always been controlled in the paint or near the hoop. But he seems to be coming into his own physically and showed a motor that I didn’t know he had—he was ALL over the offensive boards and could not be boxed out by anyone on Beaver. He could potentially compete for a starting spot at CATS this season, especially if he continues refining his touch and control.
