Spraker backed up what we saw earlier this summer at Colorado Live by producing in a different setting, and that’s always encouraging. It also lets us know that he belongs. Spraker embraced his role, set physical screens, rolled hard, and turned hustle into easy points around the basket. Late in games, he strung together a few baskets by simply staying active and putting himself in good positions to contribute. He doesn’t need plays drawn up for him to produce, and he showed that he could go in there and mix it up. He checks off plenty of boxes as a glue guy who works hard to earn minutes, and he’s trending in the right direction. 

Spraker was electric all tournament and made his presence felt in a variety of ways. In transition he was pushing the pace and finishing layups before defenders could react. He used strong body positioning to create angles, shield defenders and make tough finishes look easy. Beyond attacking the rim, Spraker also showed he can stretch the floor with a confident three point shot and clean shooting mechanics. When left open he made teams pay. His ability to score inside, knock down shots and impact the game in space made him one of the more exciting and productive players in the gym

Mason excels as an off-the-ball, off-the-dribble shooter who thrives under pressure. His efficiency in scoring has made him a reliable option for his team, particularly in crunch time when every basket counts. Additionally, his ability to run the floor in transition allows his teammates to find him in open spots, leading to easy scores.
