When he plays, he’s good. It’s as simple as that, and it was a different style of play when he was on the floor for Regis. At the UNC camp, his versatility shone through as he was bringing the ball up the floor, facilitating and scoring as well. Legrand has solid size for a guard and handles his own as a defender. Regis is going to be able to play a bit more free-flowing with him on the floor, and it will be interesting to see how they find ways to use him this year, as I think he will be needed and he will have a breakout year.

Legrand was an absolute force all weekend, bringing energy and production every time he stepped on the floor. He used his size and toughness to overpower defenders, carving out space and finishing strong through contact. When smaller defenders tried to hold their ground, he simply bullied his way to the basket. What made him even more dangerous was how quick he was attacking the lane, exploding to the hole before help could rotate. Legrand’s confidence kept rising as the weekend went on, and so did his impact. With his physical tools and growing skill set, his ceiling is only going higher from here

provided a versatile interior presence for Regis Jesuit. The 6’5” standout utilized his length to impact the Raiders’ frontline. Known for his defensive potential and efficient play, LeGrand demonstrated the incredible IQ that makes him a promising prospect in the class of 2028. LeGrand’s unique scoring bag makes him a tough assignment for any defender to keep up with. His ability to provide steady rebounding and control the pace of play in transition helped anchor a deep Regis Jesuit squad that finished with a solid 16-10 record.

LeGrand will have to sit with the transfer rule in play, but the future is very bright for him. He’s one of the most balanced underclassmen in the league and fills every column of the boxscore. He lets the game come to him, scores in transition, and takes exactly what the defense gives. Even on JV, he’s one of the top young names to track closely in what I believe will be the best JV team on the state.

LeGrand is a player that we’re curious to see how it pans out this upcoming season. He transfers over to Regis and if he’s able to play, he’s going to be able to able to help them immensely. Plenty of players in this class looks good in showcase settings and playing with their own age group but has a difficult time with real varsity players and at that speed, but that’s not the case with LeGrand. We’ve ONLY seen him with 17U players and varsity and he looks the part. He’s a player that makes the right plays with the ball in his hands but also is able to do the small things that contribute to winning. He sets screens and rolls, makes the extra pass, is a high IQ passer and reads the game well. Defensively he holds his own as a versatile defender and has a game that goes beyond the scoreboard. He’s a player I’m personally high on and has proven himself when given the opportunity. He’s one of the top players in the class and makes the a leap into the Top-25. I expect that to rise even more with a solid season.

Legrand consistently made himself part of the action, flashing to open spots and coming to the ball to keep the offense moving. His ball skills were evident, showing poise and control whether handling under pressure or setting up the next play. When he put the ball on the floor he attacked with confidence, driving to the hole aggressively and forcing defenders to react. What made him effective was his ability to combine quickness with strength, finishing through contact while also keeping his head up to make the right read. Legrand’s activity and energy on the offensive end created constant opportunities for his team, and his ability to stay engaged made him a steady presence throughout the event

Jeremyah was very intriguing on Day 1. He does a bit of everything and that versatility sets him apart. He’s a player who plays extremely hard. Knocked down 3 ball, keeps every play alive, seems to get his hands on everything defensively, and finishes well around the basket. He is a low-maintenance player who is very productive, and he does not have to have the ball to make things happen. The future is bright for Jeramyah if he sticks with it.
