Dixon was one of the biggest upside players I saw over the weekend, and I am very curious to see how his game evolves. The combination of size and athleticism immediately stood out as he showed flashes of being unstoppable and others where he’s trying to fit in. When he recognized a mismatch, he scored with ease. August was sealing guys on the block, had a couple of tough finishes, and was powering through. He also had a couple of dunks, which took away all momentum from opposing teams. I liked how he was engaged on both ends of the floor and was a nightmare matchup when he decided to be. The consistency will follow, I’m sure. He’s certainly skilled, and he has such high upside that I am sure he’ll be a name to know in the next year or two. Solid weekend for him.
