Moore is a poised guard who gives the team identity, and when he’s in a zone, he’s a floor raiser for Cherokee Trail. Moore is the team’s primary ball handler and emotional leader. He’s a floor general who the team rallies behind, and he’s been in an offensive flow as we get deeper in conference play while still setting the tone defensively. Moore rebounds well from the guard spot, starts the break, and gets the offense in the set when things look chaotic. Moore will be who the team looks to as we get into the conference tourney and transition into the playoff,s so I’m sure they will ride his momentum.
Moore brings steady energy and reliability to Cherokee Trail and plays a major role in their success. He’s a true all around guard who consistently impacts the game, averaging 7.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists while setting the tone each possession. He’s comfortable getting downhill off the dribble, drawing defenders and making the right read and he can knock down shots from different areas of the floor. Moore plays with control, keeps the offense organized and creates opportunities for teammates. His consistent effort, unselfish approach and ability to make winning plays help raise the level of everyone around him
London was just recently highlighted for making a rankings jump, and he also stands out as one of the league’s best guards. Moore is a bully-ball guard who controls pace, takes care of the ball, and defends at a high level. That is where he will make his mark as the No. 2 X-factor in the conference. He pushes tempo, plugs defensive holes for teammates, and sets the tone. Cherokee Trail needs him to elevate this season for them to be at their best, and I think he becomes a constant in the conference.
London is a player that we got to see play in Fall league, and we like what we’ve seen from him. He will be projected as one of the best on-ball defenders in the entire conference, and he anchors everything on the interior for Cherokee Trail. He gives CT their defensive identity while still running the offense and getting the team in their sets. What we like about him is how he stays in front of whoever he’s guarding, uses his body and strength, and sets the tone on that end. But he’s also the true point guard who pushes pace, calls out actions, and keeps everyone locked in. He’s the on-floor captain, guiding the tempo and holding the whole group accountable every possession, and if he’s able to have a solid season, that will make CT a dangerous team.
Moore has been a reputable shotmaker off the catch and while stepping into pull-up attempts for quite some time, with few holes in his offensive game. The guard is excellent at operating as a secondary playmaker, attacking closeouts while reading the defense to make the extra pass. Among recent performances this past month, Moore has been particularly effective probing around the baseline for corner kickouts, maintaining a stable pace against ball pressure. This upcoming season at Douglas County will bring in a new coaching staff alongside a major role for the guard, although his notable efficiency last season leaves obvious room for growth.
Moore brought dependable secondary playmaking and spot-up shooting when provided the space. Efficient behind the arc, the guard was among the Magic’s most productive floor spacers. As well adept at attacking open space for drives, either along the baseline or from the wings, Moore created numerous good looks for teammates this past weekend.
Moore is settling in well into a high usage role with a new look team at douglas County, bringing in dependable production on difficult shot attempts. Active on all three levels, he has continued to develop his versatile shotmaking profile. This is all on top of his high motor on the defensive end, constantly seeking out defensive rebounds to push the pace. At the point of attack or help side, he creates chaos, constantly looking to disrupt opposing shotmakers.
Moore brings all the intangibles you could ask from a guard on both ends. Able to read the floor quicker than the majority of opponents, he has already shown as an impactful 17u asset. Bringing in a dependable jumper to pull the defense out, Moore looks to capitalize on driving lanes a large portion of the time. Bringing in soft touch and a wiry frame, the guard is effective finishing versus contact at the basket.
Moore’s efficient perimeter shooting combined with his defensive skillset make him a significant riser in this class. He will be primed for a big summer and even more productive season at Douglas County. His continued growth as a primary creator will be fascinating, given his high floor in just about every other area of the game.
