About Lee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A crafty, high IQ scoring guard who creates offense at all three levels with shifty ball handling and smooth shot creation, he has shown that he’s a consistent threat from beyond the arc, comfortable pulling up off the dribble or knocking down catch and shoot looks. Despite being undersized, Defensively, Watkins takes pride in guarding the perimeter, using quick feet, anticipation, and toughness.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve earned Honor Roll for two consecutive years and consistently take pride in my work in the classroom. Along with balancing academics and basketball, I stay involved in my school community by participating in multiple clubs and extracurricular activities. I’m committed to being a well-rounded student-athlete who leads by example, on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges throughout my basketball journey, especially when it came to keeping up with players in my grade. There were times when I wasn’t as skilled or physically developed as others my age, and it pushed me to work even harder. What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that supports me mentally, academically, and financially. I want a school where the coaching staff values their players, communicates with respect, and provides guidance on and off the court. It’s important to me that the campus environment feels positive, safe, and high-quality, with resources available when I need them. Overall, I’m looking for a program and a community
