Kareem is a second IMG Ascender who had a key performance in their league win over Legacy Early College (SC). He is physically dominant post prospect list at 6’8″ and signed to play at the University of Georgia. Stagg’s strong frame and elite second leap jump out at you when evaluating him, and he is a force around both rims. Kareem also blocked a three-pointer, knocked down a corner three-pointer with smooth mechanics, moved his feet well when showing, and showed off comfort in handling the ball in transition and into handoffs, despite a couple of turnovers. In the Ascender’s win, Stagg tallied 11 Points and 8 Rebounds.

Stagg led the way for Boo Williams , averaging 13.4 points per game and 6 rebounds while showcasing his showcasing his sensational physical tools and motor.
The long and explosive big thrived as a play finisher with several highlight dunks and contact finishes. If Stagg wasn’t finishing plays, he was creating second chance scoring opportunities with his activity and length on the glass. Defensively, Stagg’s highlight reel continued. He blocked shots on the ball and on the weak side with terrific timing and quick twitch athleticism including swatting a shot off the glass.
Stagg flashed some shooting touch, mostly in the midrange, with my favorite moment coming on a confident elbow pull-up against Strive for Greatness. His development as a capable shooter will be intriguing to watch.

The 6-8 junior power forward has a strong blend when it comes to physicality, strength, and athleticism on the offensive end. He has really good flashes where his footwork has gradually improved and can operate from the perimeter. Stagg currently holds offers from Alabama, Pittsburgh, VCU, and several others. On the defensive end, Stagg plays with a ton. of versatility where he can guard multiple positions and makes good reads in the passing lanes.

Stagg put on dominant performance this past weekend at Boo Williams Sports Complex, the first dominant play i saw from Stagg over the weekend, he caught the ball in the low-post with a smaller defender on his back and wastes no time in pushing the defender under the rim as he finishes the play with a rim-rocking one-hand slam. Stagg extended his scoring to the three-point line where seen him pop out to knock down some catch and shoot threes. On the defensive end, Stagg operated with good defensive awareness and gave a dominant effort on the glass as he consistently hunted and pulled down strong rebounds in traffic.
