One of the best Seniors in the Derby City, Roberts is capable of scoring at a high rate or creating open looks for teammates. One of the best in the state at getting into the paint, Kamari excels in the open court and thrives in up tempo games. Roberts does more damage when attacking the rim but is a good enough three point shooter to keep defenses honest.

Fairdale played in some big games over the weekend and Roberts was at the center of the action. Roberts has shiftiness on the ball which makes him tough to stay in front of. His talent with the ball in his hands allows him to create his own shot and he has the offensive ability to put up points in a hurry. Fairdale looks like one of the most talented teams in Kentucky heading into next season with a deep 2027 class that should contend for a regional title. As for Roberts recruitment, if I’m a regional low major program I would be taking a hard look at him and if I’m a Division II or NAIA program he might be my top target from Kentucky’s 2027 point guard class.

A scoring guard who can get to his spots on the offensive end, Kamari should benefit greatly from the return of Ferlandas Wright to Fairdale. Roberts may be the most versatile scorer in the class.

This was his first weekend playing with Progeny 17u and Kamari Roberts Kamari Roberts 6'1" | PG Fairdale | 2027 State KY jumped right into the action and impacted the game on both ends of the floor. True point guard that plays at his own pace. Thrives on getting downhill where he showed many times he can finish among the trees in a variety of different ways. Confident three-point shooter that can get into his shot quick. Really good in the pick and roll. Able to make essentially any pass on the floor. He was a pest defensively picking up full court and was able to create turnovers with his active hands and quickness.

One of the most dynamic point guards in attendance at The Stage, Roberts was the standout for Griffin Elite UA Rise 17u. He scored 24 points in a win over EG10 17u to cap off the weekend, had 22 points in a win over Team Flyght UA Rise 17u, and was a bright spot scoring 18 points against Indiana Elite 3SSB in a loss. The 6’1″ guard is truly explosive off of the bounce and found ways to create his own shot from all over the floor.

Roberts is a premier PG talent in Kentucky. Last weekend, he averaged a solid 20 ppg. Kamari is a gifted athlete with shiftiness and skill that is sure to catch your eye. He does great things with the rock and shoots it at a high level. Take a look at the #10 ranked prospect in the KY 2027 class.

Coming off a big weekend at MADE hoops, Roberts is building momentum for himself while heading into recruiting season. A shifty guard, Kamari has excelled at scoring the ball and is a really good playmaker.

After a quiet first half where Griffin Elite was trailing at the break, Roberts came out and dominated in the second half to lead them to a 2-0 Saturday with two competitive victories. Roberts did a nice job getting to the rim and scoring, finishing a few times in transition and also using floaters to score in the half-court. Late in the game, Roberts knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers on the wing, the first to tie the game and the second to take the lead. Impressive takeover performance by Roberts who should be all over scholarship radars this summer with Griffin Elite .

Griffin Elite UA Rise’s 17U squad competed in one of the few Friday night matchups and immediately made a statement. Showcasing a well-balanced team effort in the blowout win, several players stood out, Kamari being one of them. He scored the first 6 points for his squad and finished the contest as one of three players in double figures with 15 points. As far as flashy goes, his go-ahead 3PT field goal from logo-range as the game clock wined down foreshadowed a great weekend for Griffin. Did I mention that he banked it in?

Holding strong at the ten spot, Roberts is one of the best point guards in the state. Capable of scoring when needed or setting up his teammates, Fairdale should be in the mix to win the 6th region next season behind Roberts, Michael Ray Stinnett Michael Ray Stinnett 6'3" | SG/SF Fairdale | 2027 State KY and Jarel Butler Jarel Butler 6'6" | PF Fairdale | 2027 State KY . Kamari is exceptional at getting to the foul line and converts at a high rate when he gets there. If he can consistently shoot 38%+ from three, expect more scholarship offers to come his way soon.
