Kade is one of the purest shooters I saw at the event and really, one of the purest shooters I have seen in this class. This is a player that is going to join four returning varsity guys and a few other solid JV players and make for a really good Fire team. And I would not be surprised of Kade becomes one of their main shooters this season.

Kade Farenbaugh Kade Farenbaugh 6'2" | CG/SG Holy Family Catholic | 2028 MN is a six-foot-two-inch 2028 guard from Holy Family and played Hoop Habits. Farenbaugh looked comfortable and aware on the court and made plays with and without the ball. Farenbaugh scored off a cut, ran in transition and was rewarded, and showed he can shoot from the perimeter making a 3-pointer. Farenbaugh was key on the glass grabbing a number of offensive boards.

At 6’2+ Kade is a long and lanky athlete out on the wing who showed he can defend a number of different spots on the floor. He didn’t get a ton of looks in the half-court, but he did a nice job of sprinting the floor in transition to pick up a couple of easy finishes throughout the game. After a quiet first half Kade really stepped up in the second with a number of plays on both ends of the floor.

When Kade got a chance to shoot the ball he made one of the quickest releasing threes in the corner you will see. Great lift into a pretty release. He then made another catching a bad closing out defender with a dribble separation move into a make. Ran the floor and assisted on a transition score with a good pass and moved really well off screens to set up shots. A shooter to know this winter at Holy Family.
