[player_tooltip player_id='2559387' first='Dwayne' last='Gibson Jr']. plays with a bit of flair on the ball. The 6'2 guard had a few impressive flashes with the ball in his hands, displaying some shifty handles to create separation from his man. Really aggressive attacking the basket and using his long arms to extend and finish in traffic. Showcased some of that St. Paul Johnson defensive toughness as well with a few gritty plays on that end of the floor.

I thought he did a good job of picking his head up in transition, passing the ball ahead to help his team get a few good looks in the open floor. Mixed it up with some bigger players on the class to pull in a few rebounds as well. Lefty shooter with a quick release on his three point shot.

Kristian was one of the more physically imposing forwards I saw at the event. Listed at 6'4, he blends strength with explosive athleticism to play even bigger than his size. He has no problem powering his way up to score through contact, at the same time drawing a number of fouls to pick up some easy points at the free throw line. During the game I watched Ward provided a strong rebounding presence inside, and threw down a powerful one handed dunk in the second half. Just finds ways to get two feet in the paint and finish.

Erik continues to show really impressive flashes of what he can do at 6'10. Throughout the game I watched he ran the floor hard for transition buckets, swatted a handful of shots, and altered many more with his presence around the basket. He's a good athlete at his size with quickness off the floor to dunk just about everything, and soft touch with his left hand from anywhere within about 10-12 feet. Still more of a defensive and transition threat, but the half-court game continues to show improvements.

Taysean was one of the main ball handling options for Team 20. He's a springy athlete with a quick first step to get by defenders off the bounce, while also utilizing that athleticism on the defensive end to cut off opposing guards on the ball. I really liked the hustle he showed hunting down loose balls and sprinting back in transition, almost always being the first one on his team to get back on defense. The junior guard will look to help Kennedy take another step forward this winter.

At 6'2+ Kade is a long and lanky athlete out on the wing who showed he can defend a number of different spots on the floor. He didn't get a ton of looks in the half-court, but he did a nice job of sprinting the floor in transition to pick up a couple of easy finishes throughout the game. After a quiet first half Kade really stepped up in the second with a number of plays on both ends of the floor.

Ahmed is a quick guard who was active moving without the ball to create some open looks in the half-court. He was probing for pockets of space to catch-and-shoot from three, and also beat his man with a hard backdoor cut leading to an easy lay-up. Ahmed showed a quick release on his jumper to get a shot off before the defender could close out on him, and he looked comfortable shooting off the catch or dribble. He did a nice job of getting the ball to his 6'10 big man inside, including a nice lobbed pass in transition to pick up an assist.
