With Perkiomen facing an uncharacteristic early deficit, Sadler’s play off the bench was key to help stem the tide and recapture momentum heading into halftime. Known for his ability to stretch defenses with his pull-up game, he showed added wrinkles as a scorer and playmaker off the dribble. His first-half scoring provided a necessary jolt in a role that figures to be appropriate for Sadler’s skillset as he moves to the next level. While he found himself on the outside looking in following his senior year at Perkiomen Valley (PA), Sadler has used his post-grad year to solidify himself as a scholarship-level prospect.

While he can be outshined at times by a pair of D1 commits in the Perkiomen backcourt, Sadler has consistently found ways to contribute as a post-grad after being “the man” during his time at Perkiomen Valley (PA). A smooth lefty, he provides value with his ability to toggle between playing on and off the ball while being a consistent threat to score in large part via his perimeter jumper. The progress he’s shown as a decisionmaker at the lead guard spot will be key towards scholarship-level programs ultimately deciding to pull the trigger.

. On defense Abington Friends will be focused on limiting the scoring opportunities for those two players. Thus, the outcome of this contest could come down to whether Sadler can exploit his matchup. Fortunately for Perkiomen, Sadler is a poised, three-level scoring machine with significant big game experience. Sadler’s jumps shot is automatic, especially from deep. Plus, Sadler can put the ball on the deck and get to cup for lay-ins. His live dribble passing skill are impressive too. Sadler recently posted 22 points (6 triples) in a win over College Achieve (NJ).

One of the most decorated backcourt prospects in the region is taking as a post graduate year at Perkiomen School and Sadler’s extra season is off a solid start. Over the weekend Sadler (1st Team All-Area & 1st Team All-District 1-6A selection last season) posted 12 points in Perkiomen’s win over Friends Central. In that victory, Sadler drained 3 triples and produced points in the open court. This season Sadler is playing alongside a host of DI commits. Thus, was not forced to carry the scoring load against FCS and his passing skills were on full display.

12p 7r 1b 1s vs Highland
-Filled his role really well in a win over Highland as a strong lead guard that can make plays on the ball for himself and others but also flourish off the ball. Sadler’s best sequence started with a spin move pull-up in the paint off of an offensive rebound, a sidestep pull-up from 8 feet after snagging the long rebound, and draining a corner 3 after fading in from the wing. Defensively he did a good job of staying in front but I would like to see him press the action a bit more, using his quickness and strength to get underneath ballhandlers to create havoc and force turnovers to disrupt the offense.

How this ridiculously talented, multi-dimensional backcourt prospect remains uncommitted is a mystery to me. Hopefully, his move to the high-profile program at Perkiomen School changes that soon. In 2023-24 Sadler posted a stat line of 22.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. He is one of the most decorated guards in the area — 1st Team All-PAC, 1st Team All-Area and 1st Team All-District 1-6A selections. In addition to scoring at every level, Sadler is an elusive ball handler with a high IQ and fantastic court vision. Playing in the ultra-talented lineup at Perkiomen should enable Sadler to display his full skill set on the national stage and thus enhance his recruiting profile.
