Reed is about to go from barely top 100 to the top 25-30 area. There is more to what Reed can do right now than expected. He can shoot the ball and has size but more than that, Reed rebounded well against other good size and his ball skills around the rim and on the perimeter were better than expected. A player to keep eyes on in a couple years when D2 schools start calling with opportunity.

Hudson Reed Hudson Reed 6'7" | PF Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa | 2029 State MN is a six-foot-seven-inch 2029 forward from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa and Minnesota Comets Elite. Reed has good size upfront and is a solid rebounder. Reed showed a couple possessions in a row that he could grab a board and take the ball the length of the floor with his dribble and attack the rack and make lay-ups through contact.

Hudson’s presence on the glass was a big reason why Team 6 was the most dominant team I saw at the showcase. Between him and Zander Dombrowski Zander Dombrowski 6'6" | PF/SF Eagan | 2029 State MN , teams weren’t able to get any second chances on offense as Hudson’s length at 6’7 and work-rate on the glass helped him swallow up rebounds in bunches. Nice tools to work with as he has solid strength and mobility with his 6’7 frame at an early stage of his career.

It took a bit for teammates to realize Hudson is a player that can knock down shots but once they did, the ball found it’s way to Reed who showed that stretch four ability that could make him a nice prospect.
