Shortly after subbing in, the ball swung his way on the wing and Gio made the defense pay for not having a hand up, putting three points on the board. Shortly after that Gio snagged a defensive rebound and then flew up the floor before dumping it off to a teammate at the block for an assist. In the second half he stopped on a dime as his defender went flying by before knocking down another three from the wing. Impressive quickness helped him make plays on both ends of the floor.

Joey was working hard on both ends throughout the game. He pressured the ball hard on defense, competed on the glass against bigger players, and was running his lane in transition. That effort paid off shortly checking in as he sprinted ahead after a defensive stop and got rewarded for his efforts with an easy lay-up. At the start of the second half he finished two lay-ups within 15 seconds as his team's high pressure defense resulted in back to back steals.

With a lot of talent around him to share the ball with, Weston found ways to contribute outside of scoring. He proved to be a scrappy on-ball defender, coming up with his first steal just a couple minutes into the game I watched. Shortly after that he got the ball on the wing and blew by his man with a quick double-crossover to get to the rim for a left handed finish. Really impressive change of speed with the ball in his hands.

Royce was one of the bigger stock risers from the event. He's shot up to about 6'2-6'3 with added athleticism that made him an above-the-rim threat out in the open floor. In the half-court he showcased a high arcing three that was connecting at a high percentage both off the catch or dribble. Royce is a fiery competitor who plays hard on both ends of the floor. Even when checked out of the game, Royce was active on the bench cheering on his teammates.

You won't find many guards in the 2029 class with a more explosive first step than [player_tooltip player_id='2768036' first='Jemierre' last='Davis']. All day long he was blowing by defenders to get to the rim or stopping on a dime for pull-up jumpers. After establishing himself as a shooting threat, Jemierre showcased a dangerous shot-fake that was able to get defenders in the air and open up driving lanes. Defensively he has no problem moving laterally to cut off opposing point guards consistently.

Tristan was a key player on both ends of the floor for Team 6. He's a big and physical guard who can bully defenders around the basket, or beat bigger wings off the dribble. Defensively he was one of the hardest workers I saw all weekend, constantly pressuring the ball or battling for loose balls/rebounds. Tristan competes with an edge and steps onto the floor doing whatever it takes to help his team win. He put together a dominant second half in his team's win over Team 1.

At 6'6 Zander is a versatile prospect who could play out on the perimeter or in the paint. He moves well at his size, and on multiple occasions was able to beat opposing forwards off the dribble to get to the rim and finish. Showcased good strength and body control to make plays through contact in the paint while helping his team dominate on the glass. Zander worked hard throughout the game sprinting rim-to-rim in transition on both ends.

Hudson's presence on the glass was a big reason why Team 6 was the most dominant team I saw at the showcase. Between him and [player_tooltip player_id='3663921' first='Zander' last='Dombrowski'], teams weren't able to get any second chances on offense as Hudson's length at 6'7 and work-rate on the glass helped him swallow up rebounds in bunches. Nice tools to work with as he has solid strength and mobility with his 6'7 frame at an early stage of his career.
