Tristan Latimore Tristan Latimore 6'2" | SG/SF Duluth Denfeld | 2029 State MN – Latimore is a six-foot-two-inch 2029 guard for Starks Elite 15U that scored 23 points against MN Magic Trevor Sunday morning. The stalky and strong guard pushed his way a number times to the rim and finished contested short range shots and lay-ups for scores.

We’ve seen Duluth Denfeld at the state tournament recently, and the talent pool doesn’t appear to be drying up. Tristan played a key role these past few days in helping lead his Starks Elite team to a 4-0 record at the 15u level. At 6’2 he can play a variety of positions at this stage, spending time both running the point and out on the wing. Tristan could torch defenses from three, use his big frame to finish at the rim, or set up his big man in positions to score. Starks Elite played without any subs on Friday, but Tristan provided high levels of energy and production throughout the game.

Latimore used his physical strength and body to change the game by getting downhill. Tristan was great at playing off two feet. He impacted the game in a big way on offense and defense.

From the couple times I’ve seen Latimore he seems more of a  slasher/cutter type player from the perimeter which with good passing is very valuable.

He has a natural ability with the ball. He gets to the hoop and makes his lay-ups. As he matures, refinement to his game will just make him that much better.
