Gicarri Harris
About Gicarri
Expert Analysis
Brian Flinn | Prep Hoops Scout
The Purdue commit ran the offense well, finishing with 14 points and 10 assists in a first round victory. A tough two-way guard who keeps the ball moving and reads the floor well, he should find his way to minutes in West Lafayette sooner rather than later.

Gicarri Harris Gicarri Harris 6'4" | CG Grayson | 2024 State #86 Nation GA is a big, physical guard that can thrive in different roles. When Harris needs to take over a game, he can. Meanwhile, his experience playing with other talent allows him to take a step back and excel as a role player when appropriate. He’s a stong finisher at the rim and shoots the three at a high clip, needing little room to get his shot off. The Purdue commit now sits at #2 on our 2024 board.

The reigning Gwinnett County Player of the Year returns for the Grayson Rams and looks poised to lead them on another deep playoff run. Harris is a big, strong point guard that can single-handedly take over a game with his microwave scoring ability. He’s able to physically dominate smaller guards around the paint or score from the perimeter using his tight handle and rangy three-ball. Harris has recently taken official visits to LSU, Purdue, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech.

The 6-4 combo guard looked efficient on Saturday night for Grayson (Georgia) exploding for a game-high 24 points and dished out five assists in the win over Pembroke Pines Charter. Harris used his speed and created efficiency on the offensive end as well as scoring off the bounce. He was able to use his leadership skills and his experience on the floor. Harris is a strong guard with high-IQ and a great feel for the game. He’s a 3-level scorer that can also facilitate and rebound. On the defensive end, he’s a tough on-ball defender and can guard 1-3. His stock rose tremendously after last summer with Atlanta Celtics and is now a top 100 player in the country.
