Playing with some of his future teammates at Portland Christian with Royal Nation, Day showed he’s going to be one of the top offensive options not only for the Royals next season but perhaps in all of 2A. The rising senior shot the ball well both off the catch and the dribble, and had some nice finishes of drives thru contact as his squad captured a tight win.

Great perimeter shooter that is athletic enough to get to the rim. Uses his length on the defensive end to play the passing lays & create turnovers in Nelson’s pressure defense.

Easily the biggest jump this update belonged to Day, who proved during this off-season he’s ready for the move from the deep bench to significant minutes in 2025-26. The 6-foot-2 guard has great range and accuracy on the catch-and-shoot, can do some damage off the dribble, and has gotten stronger to make an impact defensively.
