The rising senior guard simply merges into whatever is being run out on the court and his abilty to create with the basketball for himself and others will be great for the Cavs. In their win over Thurston, his jumper was sharp, he beat defenders off the dribble to the basket, and helped out on the boards as well. 17 points and 7 rebounds total.

Lugo is a good outside shooter with a clean shot and the ability to score off the dribble. He also attacks the rim effectively, giving him a balanced offensive game. Despite getting injured early, he returned and played a key role in leading his team to a win over G-Elite, finishing with 20 points. Lugo also contributes on the glass as a decent rebounder, adding value beyond scoring. His toughness, shot-making, and ability to respond under adversity make him a reliable offensive piece.

Lugo used some creative moves with the ball to get to spots and score, and his perimeter jumper was sharp both from the catch-and-shoot and on pull-ups off the dribble. His decision making was sharp, particularly in transition.
