Expert Analysis
Andrew Gill | Prep Hoops Scout
Lugo is a good outside shooter with a clean shot and the ability to score off the dribble. He also attacks the rim effectively, giving him a balanced offensive game. Despite getting injured early, he returned and played a key role in leading his team to a win over G-Elite, finishing with 20 points. Lugo also contributes on the glass as a decent rebounder, adding value beyond scoring. His toughness, shot-making, and ability to respond under adversity make him a reliable offensive piece.

The Carr Sports Academy-Blue squad shined as a team, but leading the way was some solid play overall from the Milwaukie junior. Lugo used some creative moves with the ball to get to spots and score, and his perimeter jumper was sharp both from the catch-and-shoot and on pull-ups off the dribble. His decision making was sharp, particularly in transition.

Lugo, a 6-foot guard, played with excellent control and pace, finding ways to consistently get to his spots on the floor. He also impacted the game defensively, showing discipline and effort on that end. This upcoming season, he will be one of the more underrated guards in the NWOC Conference. (AG)
