Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Bianco was living in the paint all day. He’s certainly undersized for the point guard position – 6-feet is definitely a stretch – but he makes up for it with great quickness and high skill-level. Bianco has a bag of crafty finishes at the rim and can also make plays for his teammates when the help comes. His outside shooting isn’t beautiful, but it’s good enough to make the defense pay for going under screens. Bianco is a definite D3 player.

The definition of a true point guard. Bianco is constantly pushing the ball down the court – even while being pressured – and he’s great at finding teammates once he gets across the timeline. He has the ball on a string and blows by defenders with quickness and speed. He also clamps up on the defensive end. Would imagine he’ll be a great D3 player with scholarship potential.

Previous Rank: 130 (+30)rnBianco has stood out this season as someone who just continues to make winning play after winning play. A true lead guard, he’s as competitive of a prospect as there is in the class and repeatedly makes the little plays that lead to winning. He has good floor vision and does a great job of finding his teammates in scoring positions. He’s also proven capable of getting his own baskets when needed. Defensively, he’s a pest on the ball and does a good job of keeping opposing guards out of the paint. It’ll be fun to follow his progress this spring and summer and to see how high he can push his recruitment.

Bianco had a standout tournament. He is a crafty and skilled point guard. He can make plays for others, and create his own shot. He isn’t the biggest on the court, but still manages score in the paint a lot. He showed he is able to score over bigger defenders with his soft floater, and high soft touch off the glass. I really liked his decision making in the tournament, and his shot selection. He did a good job knowing when to pass and when to be assertive. He is only going into his sophomore year, so he has plenty of more time to keep raising his stock.
