I first saw Carter as an 8th grader heading into his freshman year, and even then he looked the part of a mature floor general. He’s a tough defender, handles it under pressure with poise, and can get a bucket or run the offense depending on what’s asked of him. On Sunday he was excelling as a scorer, finishing with 23 and 25 points in two of his games. STMA has a promising group of young players, and Carter will be one of the guards they look to build around for these next two seasons.
