– Auge is a six-foot-ten inch center from Shakopee who’s a good rebounder and shot blocker. Offensively Auge is still a work in progress player but his physical size gives him a huge advantage.

Tommy was a key contributor for Shakopee, using his 6’10 frame to work inside. He controlled the paint on both ends, using his length and timing to block shots and disrupt opponents at the rim. Offensively, he fought through contact to finish strong inside. Auge was effective when rolling to the basket off of screens, being able to catch the pass and lay the ball in, all in one motion.

– The six-foot-ten-inch 2025 Auge does a decent job running the floor, including one possession where he stayed with a speedy guard and blocked his shot attempt going to the rim. He stretches the floor a bit as he did knock down a 3-pointer in this contest.

Tommy continues to impress me with the growth he’s made over the past year. Against Champlin Park he showcased his impressive skillset at 6’10, knocking down a pair of threes, and also converting on some crafty finishes at the rim. Put the ball on the floor and got to the rim for a reverse lay-up, and ran the floor hard rim-to-rim. He moves with good fluidity at 6’10, has a smooth jumper, and works hard when moving his feet against smaller forwards. Tommy is an intriguing prospect who could really take off with a bit of added strength/explosiveness.

Tommy just continues to show improvements every time I see him play. Shakopee was missing some key players, and it’s only fall league so it’s hard to make an assumption on what the rotation will look like, but Tommy impressed in big minutes against BSM. When he caught on the block he showed excellent touch hitting short turnaround jumpers, and also showed he can put the ball on the floor and attack from the wing. Looked really comfortable taking one/two dribbles and finishing with some fluidity around the rim. Still an intriguing prospect with a lot of upside.
