Franck is a player we’ve liked for his shooting over the past few summers, but The Expo showed us a much more complete version of his game. We think he’s in line for a big season at The Classical Academy. He looks to have added size, and it showed in the way he attacked the rim, finished through traffic and played with more physicality. His confidence getting downhill really stood out, as did the new moves he showed around the basket. The shooting has always been there, but now he’s adding more ways to hurt defenders and that could make Franck one of the names making a real jump this season

Franck was better than I anticipated and quietly put together one of the stronger days in the gym. He’s skilled and very balanced. He showcased a bit of everything and it really surprised me how he looked with the ball in his hands. He was not sped up, he attacked off the dribble and put pressure on the rim, he took advantage of mismatches and also got some work on the block. Franck had stretched where he dominated and looked like one of the best players on the floor and others he was just trying to pass and get others involved and while that doesn’t typically stand out in a showcase, I appreciated the making the right plays. He can shoot it, has good size, finished down low and battled defensively as well. He wasn’t necessarily the loudest name entering the day, but his play made him difficult to overlook. A very complete showing from him and a stock boosting day.

Franck was a tough cover all weekend, bringing a complete game that impacted both ends of the floor. As a wing he used his shooting ability to draw defenders out and create space, forcing opponents to stay attached every possession. Once defenders closed too hard, he made them pay by attacking and scoring down low with strength and control. He showed great feel for when to space the floor and when to punish mismatches inside. On the defensive end Franck played with toughness and pride, competing hard, staying physical, and making scorers work for everything they got. A true two way presence

Franck can shoot it and is a confident scorer, and that was on display in a couple of games I saw from him this weekend. He checks off plenty of boxes as he has good size, he’s strong, moves well, and he was spacing the floor with his outside shot. He kept knocking them down, and when he gets his feet set, he really knocks them down. Franck understands where to be on the floor to get open and free, and he’s a player that defenses have to know where he is, or he will make them pay. What I liked is that despite his 3-ball falling, he didn’t settle for only shooting. He mixed it up as he used his size to get a smaller guard on him inside and overpower him and finish over the top. He capped it off by lighting up a really talented DNA team and showed he shows up even in big games. Franck is a talented player.

Franck turned heads this summer and positioned himself as a major rising candidate for The Classical Academy. He showed impressive maturity in his decision making, staying poised with the ball and creating quality looks for himself and others. His effort inside earned him tough baskets, and he continues to grow as an all around shooter who can space the floor. Pair that with his tough, engaged defense, and his impact is hard to ignore. With more minutes and a bigger role ahead, his game is only going to keep expanding and this season could be his true arrival

Franck brought great energy to the showcase and really used his length and size to his advantage. Franck’s presence was felt every time he was on the floor by controlling the paint, stretching defenses, and impacting the game on both ends. With his tools and effort he proved to be a player that can change momentum and give his team an edge
