Expert Analysis
Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
We got to see Anton for Pro Skills this summer as he got out to a few of our events, and he was a standout each time out. He’s a true PG that controls tempo and pushes pace, looks to get teammates going, and takes care of the ball. There are also times when he flips a switch and decides to attack and score, and that opens things up for his team. When he combines the two, that is when he’s going to be at his best. Being assertive the entire time and getting downhill will only get the offensive flowing. For T-Ridge, they have so much size and a balance that will need him to do a bit of both. He also must be a pest defensively and come up with more plucks and get out and go. He’s a player that we see take over and have his moments, and now we want to see more of them. He makes a jump in the rankings this go round but think he could make a much bigger leap with a big start to the season.

Trevino is a high-IQ guard who can catch fire in a hurry. This summer with Pro Skills, he really found his rhythm as a confident shooter who squares up and lets it fly. He also breaks defenders down off the bounce, and finishes creatively around the rim. His face-up game stands out. He looked sharp on the circuit and will need to carry that momentum into the season with ThunderRidge, which returns some good guards to the squad. Excited to see how he fares as he jumps onto our rankings.

Shooter with good lift, elevation, and form. More importantly, he seemingly understands how to slightly kick his leg out on his jump shot in order to potentially draw a foul. He did this while still being able to land safely on the ground with 2-feet. This is a skill that professionals tend to develop. Not sure if it was on purpose or not, but it was solid technique.

A steady contributor along the perimeter, Trevino is consistent off the catch or rising up for pull-up attempts should opposing defenses stay too low. ThunderRidge continues to have a wealth of backcourt assets in the 2026 and 2027 classes, Trevino is one of those names who has complete confidence in the shot.

A knockdown perimeter shooter off the catch or from pull-ups, Trevino continues to provide value as a consistent backcourt creator. Confident even versus contests, he shows upside as a three level scorer over the coming seasons. Still a willing passer once in the paint, if given the opportunity for driving lanes he is quick reading the floor once an opening presents itself.
