A group of players from mainly Washington plus Oregon and Arizona challenged themselves versus some of the top Great Britain National players and local British players for the London SHOWCASE. They spent one week in London exploring around the country but also playing some highly competitive hoops.

Both teams performed at a high level and here were some of the standouts when I watched them play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2116694' first='Trey' last='Collier'] Silas

A real PG with speed and a super tight handle in close spaces. He really gets it and can make players around him better with drive and kicks, bail out passes and he is great off of the pick and roll game. He will score with the pull-up or catch three. He has plus body control in the air and a sharp mid-range jumper. His defense on the ball can be very good down the road and in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='2021625' first='Luca' last='Faletto'] Chalen

A strong framed shooting guard with toughness, craftiness and feel. He will score with offensive rebound put backs, the lefty has a nice floater game, he loves getting downhill thru contact and has a nice middle game. He rebounds well and then will find a teammate in stride.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173104' first='Jason' last='Feddema'] Enumclaw

A sharp shooting scoring guard/wing forward. He has good size for position and pretty ball rotation on his three point shot off the catch with a super quick trigger. He can also get downhill with his left, score on offensive rebound put backs and uses the floater game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1445948' first='Brandon' last='Stapleton'] Chandler (Pictured)

A combo guard or wing forward showed a lot of his many talents this week. The southpaw can catch and shoot from the three plus pull-up from mid-range off the dribble. He will jab step and rise up, score with back door cuts and scores thru contact. He rebounds, blocks shots and collect steals on D.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140818' first='Jack' last='Thompson'] TBD

The big man has incredible size, length, soft hands and nice touch from inside and out. He rebounds the ball at a high level and will block shots. He smartly keeps the ball high and will score with drop steps, left or right hand hook shots, mid-range jumpers and extend out to the three point line with good form on his release.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863246' first='Carson' last='Morningstar'] Prairie

A highly skilled power forward with advanced post footwork, counter moves and great hands. He has plus size and length and he is hyper efficient and very patient/calm. He scores with left or right hand hook shots keeping the ball high and loves the mid-range game. He can absorb the contact inside and get to the line. He will also hit the three occasionally.

[player_tooltip player_id='1863242' first='Dekker' last='Van De Graaf'] Zillah

A strong framed shooting guard is a two-way player. He will score with mid-range pull-ups, fall away from 8-feet, hit the catch three, score with put backs and he can take two-dribbles down the lane and dunk it with authority. He guards the best player on the opposing team and rebounds and does many little things that add up to winning.

Jaxon Lawson PG 6'0 2026 (Canby/OR)

A scoring lead guard has a nice looking stroke from the three off the catch or pull. He has good size for the position and will get downhill after he gets past his initial defender. He takes contact well and uses the floater game. He is quick to collect steals and the Oregon product can make plays for teammates. He is a top-5 player in Oregon from his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140806' first='Cameron' last='Walls'] Central Valley

A pass first point guard who can score as well. He has advanced court vision in traffic and uses a quick first step to get to the basket to score. He uses a tear drop and plays off of two-feet and will rise up from mid-range. He likes to pull-up from mid to the three and he seems to collect steals in bunches with his aggressive play. He hit a clutch contact layup at the buzzer to win it for the U16 team in game-1.

[player_tooltip player_id='2384289' first='Nolan' last='Larson'] Ballard

A tough two-way wing forward who brings energy to the court. He was one of the glue players for the 16U NW team. He is very aggressive to the basket and athletic to rebound with a motor. He will score with catch threes, mid-range jumpers and cuts off the ball. He is a good passer who grabs a lot of loose balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='2629635' first='Jarrick' last='Matthews'] Auburn Mountainview

A bigger guard who can play some on or off the ball. He is best off of it so he can catch and shoot from the three point line. The lefty has a nice looking stroke and can hit the mid-range. He is a plus on-ball defender to collect steals and he will rebound in his area. He has a sneaky quick handle with his size to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2457277' first='Kaden' last='Veldman'] Lynden Christian

A two-sport standout wing forward knows the game well. He scores it everyway with catch threes, layups, put backs, he cuts when he should and will euro down the lane for two. He is tough on defense to take charges, rebound the ball and pesters his opponents on the ball to strip it away from them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685500' first='Karson' last='Maze'] Mead

One of the top performers of the week. He is a walking bucket who will also make players around him better. He has a quick burst to get downhill and is very hard to stay in front of. He is jet quick in the open court and will pour in points. He has a super quick trigger on his three with a tough mid-range pull-up as he gets balanced quickly. He has bursts he uses during the games to score but then will dime his teammates all over the court. He is a quick on-ball defender and will pick up his opposing PG 94-feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548216' first='Shy' last='Shah'] Edmonds-Woodway

A long and tall guard who is comfortable playing both positions. He is a catch and shoot three point type and loves the floater game. He makes smart reads to teammates and uses his length on defense to play the passing lanes. He is one of those shooters who can get scorching hot from the arc. He hit six triples in one of his games.

A group of players from mainly Washington plus Oregon and Arizona challenged themselves versus some of the top Great Britain National players and local British players for the London SHOWCASE. They spent one week in London exploring around the country but also playing some highly competitive hoops.
