Veldman is a strong rebounding combo forward who can play down low and bang with the big guys but also has shown the ability to step out and knock down some outside shots. He’s a tough kid who will do the dirty work, fights for position inside, and stepped up to be a big piece around the paint for a team that lost quite a bit of size from the previous year.

Kaden’s defensive presence was huge all season long for the Lyncs, being able to stay focused during the entire possession and collect multiple blocks in the paint. Offensively, he is strong while getting to the rack and when sealing down low. He is most effective when roaming around the high post and working from there. His jump shot is starting to become more consistent and after it stays consistent, he could win the NWC MVP next season.
