Did a good job facing full court pressure to make the right plays and not try to beat it himself. Consistently beat initial defender and created for teammates from paint touches. Did well to keep defenders at a distance along the perimeter and found ways to get the ball to the middle to beat traps and zone defenses. Showed his composure against pressure and ability to create passing lanes. Athletic at the hoop and tough perimeter defender.

As of January 20th, he’s the leading scorer in the GSL this season at 21.7 points per game, but that only tells half the story for the junior guard. He’s one of the toughest point guards in his class who plays both ways and has the athleticism and engine to be a pest defensively, and a strong finisher at the cup.

Maze is one of the top point guards in his class and has some legit intangibles that help separate him from the pack. He’s an excellent scorer from different levels, but it’s his ability to impact the game on all fronts that makes him a really attractive prospect. He should start to get some real interest this season.

Maze is a highly astute and mentally sharp point guard who has clearly identified himself as one of the top point guards in his class. He has the toughness, court awareness, quickness, and shot-making capabilities to be a high-level college prospect. He should be in store for another strong season as he continues to improve his prospect stock.

Pacey, bursty guard who can surprise you with some real athletic plays and sneak up on bigger guys to meet them at the rim for some chase-down/help-side blocks. Very opportunistic defensively with quick hands and an aggressive mindset. His bread and butter though is scoring the ball. Excellent from behind the arc and has good footwork to pair with that pace, getting defenders on their heels and scoring from the midrange.
