Wiggins, a guard out of the Westminster School in Connecticut, checks in at #3 among the point guards and #25 overall in this rankings update. The 6’0″ guard had a breakout season this winter, earning All-NEPSAC honors after averaging 23.0 points and 6.0 assists per game. He plays with a great feel for the game on the offensive end of the floor, has good vision when creating out of ball screens, and is capable of scoring it at all three levels. Defensively, he’s capable of guarding either backcourt spot and does a nice job of making plays, on and off the ball, that lead to turnovers and scoring opportunities in transition. Wiggins continues to stack big-time performances and looks more confident every time he steps on the floor. He’s a guard who can score in bunches, whether it’s creating his own shot or capitalizing off quick windows in the defense. He plays with a smooth pace that keeps defenders off balance and allows him to pick his spots without forcing the action. His high IQ shows up in the way he reads help defenders, makes the right decision, and stays under control late in possessions. Around the basket, he’s a reliable finisher who uses touch, angles, and body control to convert through contact. What stands out most is how consistent he’s been, bringing the same aggression and poise night after night.

Wiggins has an argument as the best player on this entire 2027 watch list. The 6-foot guard is putting up crazy numbers for the Westminster School this season; he scores it from all three levels, he rebounds the ball well for his size, he’s a great facilitator, and he makes his mark on the defensive end as well. He’s an incredibly well-rounded two-way guard who plays at his own pace and knows how to use his athleticism when he needs to while still relying on his craft and IQ the majority of the time. Wiggins should be on the radar of scholarship coaches.
