Anytime you come across a young prospect with this type of size you are going to be intrigued. We’ve had a chance to see Willing play a handful of times now with Refined Indiana on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The 6’8″ big man from Guerin Catholic High School has flashed the ability to finish around the rim, rebound his area, and be disruptive on defense as a shot blocker or shot changer. Willing is still a bit raw around the edges, but as he continues to develop the size that he already possesses will allow for improvement to come rapidly.

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

Willing was one of the more intriguing players that played at Havoc in the Heartland this past weekend. Playing for Refined Indiana 15u, he immediately stood out due to his natural height and size. While he is still is raw in some areas, he does a good job of getting boards on both ends. He does have a soft touch around, as well. He is one to watch for the next couple of years.
