Lassiter was one of the few Riverside role players who stepped up to provide Boyogueno with some help on Monday. He had three catch-and-shoot threes in the second half, all of which were crucial to keeping their offense afloat. But he also was impactful on the defensive end, matching up with both bigs and guards and holding up throughout the night. JJ’s shooting and defensive playmaking were quite impressive, and it will earn him minutes in tight spots during a potential deep playoff run.

Rounding out the list of Bigs to know from Week 6 of the Upward Stars Fall League is JJ Lassiter JJ Lassiter JJ Lassiter 6'4" | PF Riverside | 2028 State SC . Lassiter plays in the post right now for the Warriors with a big frame and decent feet at the rim. Going into his Sophomore Season, most of JJ’s minutes will be determined by how well he controls the glass and covers ground defensively, so anything he can add as a scorer will be a plus.
