The highest ranked newcomer, [player_tooltip player_id='2553499' first='Adama' last='Tambedou'], enters the rankings after transferring to Putnam Science Academy. Tambedou is an uber athletic and powerful combo forward that plays way above the rim.

Beyond that, there are a handful of other prospects of note that entered the rankings.

Carter, who reclassified upon transferring to the Kent School, makes his first appearance in the rankings after coming from New York. A naturally instinctive guard, Carter has good positional size, great length, and impressive burst. He's a high level defender right now, capable of guarding the ball on the perimeter or causing havoc in passing lanes. He utilizes his athleticism to turn defense into quick offense and is a blur in transition. He has some playmaking ability, particularly in the open floor, but thrives mostly as a slasher. He does a good job of getting downhill off the bounce and is capable of finishing through contact at the rim. As he gets stronger and fills out his frame, his ceiling should only continue to rise. He's a definite college prospect that should greatly benefit from the multiple years at Kent.

Higgs, who makes his way to New England from New Jersey, played his way onto our radar at the NEPSAC Showcase this summer. A fluid and mobile big, Higgs has the ability to impact a game on both ends of the floor. He moves incredibly well for a prospect of his size, both laterally on the defensive end of the floor and in transition on offense. He has solid hands, a strong base, and good enough athleticism to challenge defenders at the rim. With his IQ and mobility, he looks like the type of prospect that could eventually develop his perimeter game. Defensively, he's solid in ball screen actions and offers plenty of rim protection. He's a high academic prospect that's heard from multiple Ivy League schools and could see a rise in his recruitment this winter.

Misukanis, a newcomer to the region via Minnesota, is another prospect that made his way onto our radar at the NEPSAC Showcase. A long and lean forward, Misukanis is a highly intelligent defender that has a great sense of how to defend in ball screen actions. He moves his feet well, has great length, and does a good job of contesting shots at the rim without fouling. While lean, he doesn't shy away from contact, which was a pleasant surprise. Offensively, he does a great job of setting screens and then rolling hard to the rim. He has good hands, a big catch radius, and the ability to finish on the move. The lefty does a great job of sealing in the paint, showing his hands, and keeping the ball high once he catches it. If he can add some muscle mass and improve his strength, he should drastically increase his ceiling as a prospect. As it stands now, he's a high academic recruit that has attracted the attention of some of the best academic schools in the country.

Kasanga, a repeat junior at Vermont Academy, made a name for himself this summer as an attacking combo guard that can really push the pace. With good positional size and nice court vision, Kasanga has the ability to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker. He has a quick first step, does a nice job of changing directions, and can navigate through tight spaces with a good handle. He's a solid passer, particularly on the moving, delivering the ball to teammates in positions to score. He can create space for himself off the bounce, has proven to be an effective finisher around the rim, and does a nice job of getting into his mid-range game. Defensively, he's willing to pick up the ball at 94', uses his length to be disruptive, and has good anticipation in passing lanes. He'll have a chance to improve his stock in the NEPSAC and is a surefire college prospect down the line.

Purington, another reclassed junior, has continued to improve his conditioning, allowing him to play a major role for the New England Storm this summer. A traditional big man, Purington excels as a low post scorer, screener to roller, and rim runner in transition. He has soft touch around the rim, good footwork, and is a good passer when the double team comes. He's hard to move when he gets low post positioning and does a good job of being patient off the catch, methodically working his way into scoring position. Defensively, he's a vocal presence on the back line that does a good job of walling up in the post and rebounding both in his area and in space. He's another prospect that should only continue to improve over the next two years and is due for a big season at Berwick.
