Kasanga lit it up from three converting on five threes in his teams win over Massanutten. He finished with 15 points, two rebounds and a steal. If his feet are set from behind the arc, there is a high chance he is connecting. He has nice size and good length. He is a prospect who should see traction at the small college level.

Kasanga was one of the best athletes at Brandeis camp. The 6-foot-3 combo guard keeps his line very well on drives to the rim because of his strength and balance, and he can elevate and finish at the rim with contact. He also has a knack for making the right pass when defenders collapse on him. Most impressive was Kasanga’s rebounding, especially for his size. He’s active and tough on the boards and should be able to find a D3 fit as a result.

Kasanga is a 6’3″ guard out of Vermont Academy. The 2026 guard is a three level scorer that moves well without the basketball, shows good instincts as a cutter, and can get into his mid-range game off the bounce. He does a nice job of developing his overall game and is equally comfortable off the ball or operating with it in his hands. On top of that, he does a nice job of picking his spots as an offensive rebounder. Defensively, he has a strong frame and with good positional size, is capable of guarding the ball at a high level, showing the ability to defend every perimeter spot.

Kasanga, a repeat junior at Vermont Academy, made a name for himself this summer as an attacking combo guard that can really push the pace. With good positional size and nice court vision, Kasanga has the ability to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker. He has a quick first step, does a nice job of changing directions, and can navigate through tight spaces with a good handle. He’s a solid passer, particularly on the moving, delivering the ball to teammates in positions to score. He can create space for himself off the bounce, has proven to be an effective finisher around the rim, and does a nice job of getting into his mid-range game. Defensively, he’s willing to pick up the ball at 94′, uses his length to be disruptive, and has good anticipation in passing lanes. He’ll have a chance to improve his stock in the NEPSAC and is a surefire college prospect down the line.

Kasanga, who will be a repeat junior at Vermont Academy this year, burst onto the scene with an impressive performance at NERR Elite 75 North. A solid athlete with great positional size, Kasanga has morphed from a scoring wing into a combo guard in just a short amount of time. He has great length, a quick first step, and the ability to finish with either hand at the rim. He has deep range on his jumper and isn’t afraid to take big shots in big moments. Lately, he’s shown more ability to read defenses and make decisions in ball screens. He’s a high level defender that does a great job of moving his feet, while using his quickness and length to generate steals and deflections. I expect he’ll take another jump at Vermont Academy and will have wide ranging recruitment by the time the spring roles around.

is an athletic scorer who is oozing with upside and potential. On the open floor, he can get up and throw it down at the rim with authority. Kasanga can score from all three levels and is most dangerous attacking the rim and finishing through traffic. He has excellent touch and uses the glass to perfection on those said drives. Kasanga isn’t afraid to shoot from mid-range or three too, diversifying his scoring arsenal. On defense, he plays with intensity, always trying hard to defend the best opposing player, and moves his feet exceptionally well on opposing drives. Kasanga is a player to bet on moving forward and should be heavily pursued by coaches and programs alike very soon.
